Entrepreneur Randall Fincke has founded medical device and instrumentation companies over the course of his 25-year career and holds several patents in medical instrumentation. Randall Fincke’s innovative contributions to the medical device industry have helped heath care facilities improve patient care and safety, increase clinician efficiency, provide patient mobility, and reduce costs. Randall Fincke founded Cadent Medical in 1996 with $6 million in venture capital funds. While at Cadent, he developed and patented a miniature, wearable defibrillator, which provided an innovative transitional therapy for patients with heart disease and obtained FDA approval. The company was sold to Cardiac Science for $22 million. Mr. Fincke went on to design and develop some new technologies in the growing medical device industry, and founded Advent Medical Products located in Burlington, MA in 2004 that is designing and developing new applications by utilizing some of the latest advancements in software technologies that increase patient’s quality of care, help to reduce costs, and provide a framework for more effective treatments and patient outcomes. Randall Fincke earned an MS in Design Engineering from Tufts University in Massachusetts and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Hampshire.
